AUGMENTS:

FASHION WARE:

  • Forearm (Athletic ware): Monitors: pulse, respiration, brainwave, blood sugar, temperature, cholesterol, blood pressure, caloric intake.
  • Recreational aug: watch implant

NEUROPROSTHETICS:

These are biochips inserted in the spine/ central nervous system.

Common uses:

  • Speed boosters
  • Pain inhibitors
  • olfactory boosters
  • Anti hangover

Advanced uses: Human augmentations will require immunosuppressants to overcome the rejection process. So users will have to take a dosage of an immunosuppressant through an intravenous forearm implant once a week. There are also smaller versions of these mixed with reconstructed animal DNA (called the beast vial), that can temporarily enhance the human capability to an extreme level. These come inside small cylindrical shaped vials that can be inserted inside the forearm implant and the liquid inside is directly injected into the bloodstream. Once inside it reacts with the nanobots in the bloodstream to cause an effect.

  • Rhino defense: Hardens the subdermal armor to an extreme level. Deflects bullets and reduces flinch.
  • Bull force: Stronger muscles. Lift better, punch through walls, throw better.
  • Shark instinct: Able to smell underwater. Target tracking, leg strength, faster swimming. Works well with gill implants.
  • Cheetah gait: For bionic legs. Run faster.
  • Chameleon camo: Camouflage for subdermal armor, body plates, and synth skin.
  • Rattlesnake reflex: Slowdown time. Faster reaction time. Faster twitch muscles. Heightened reflexes.
  • Bat vision: Wall penetrating imager, Echolocation, sonar. Works best with cyber optics and audio implants.
  • gorilla grip: increased grip strength.

Some of these can also be used in-game like the chameleon for hiding from invading emenies, bat for tracking enemies and rattlesnake to be two steps ahaed of the enemy.

  • Nasal implant: Filter pollution and poisonous gases for the common man. In the military industry, it's used for filtering out sleep drugs, smoke grenades, toxins, and atmospheric gases.
  • Disease curing: Organ implants installation just to cure diseases. For example liver implant for liver cirrhosis. No more artery blocks.
  • Memory implant: A storage device in the brain to store memories. Can replay the moment in the eye when needed.
  • Gill implants: Allows users to breathe underwater.
  • Independent air supply

Augments play a major role in people's lives. Augments are created by various corporations. They come in different price tags with the most affordable ones being made by small augmentation clinics with a mix of Titanium and other metals and more luxurious ones made by huge cosmetic megacorporations with Obriydian. There are companies that manufacture augments for every type of profession and need. The most common type of Bioware that can be found on any person with augments is an intelligent power cell kit installed onto their backs. It ensures that the augment always works at its full capacity and draws upon the Ojas energy as and when required to replenish its power. These need to be recharged at Ojas Docks available every kilometer for a small price every month(similar to refueling at petrol bunks but with solar wave charging). People will have to go through a series of tests to be qualified to be able to install augments onto themselves. They get various licenses according to their need and will only be allowed to get augments that are under that license group.
